Radio Nets

The RADAR Club facilitates two radio nets weekly. All members and non-members are welcome to participate. These nets are operated by volunteers using the club call sign VK4WIR

WIA National News, followed by Q News and club call back. Broadcast from the QTH of Mike (VK4JT) Starting at 9am AEST, every Sunday on the clubs 2m repeater (146.700MHz with -600KHz) (91.5 Hz tone is required) . After the news, Mike encourages all members and local operators a chance to call in and say gidday. Everyone is welcome and F calls are especially encouraged to tune in.

For members who work HF, the club also runs an 80m net every Tuesday evening. Net controller Brian (VK4LH) encourages all operators from the extended area to call in and say hello. The net begins at 7:30pm AEST at 3.613MHz +/- depending on the conditions.
